If your account has been charged multiple times, keep the following in mind:
- Clicking "Place Order" multiple times at checkout will result in a pending authorization for each click. This is not the same as a credit card charge - it's a temporary hold placed on your account at checkout, which is released when your order is shipped and charged. Any extra authorizations will be released within a period set by your credit card company (usually 5-7 business days). If you clicked multiple times, you will have a charge for each click, but these will be cleared by your credit card company and only one final charge will be assessed when the item ships.
- Orders are sometimes split into a set of smaller packages to deliver even more quickly. If you see two smaller charges on your card instead of one total charge, your order was split and your were charged for each separately. If you ordered multiple items, it's possible they were shipped separately and your order total was split into smaller charges.
